Best-effort availability. We use commercially reasonable efforts to keep your instance and our network online and reachable and to address outages promptly. This SLA does not provide a guaranteed uptime percentage or service credits.
This Service Level Agreement ("SLA") describes the availability commitment Dynavo makes for its Linux KVM VPS service, what that commitment covers, and what it excludes. It is part of our Terms of Service.
1. Our commitment
Dynavo commits to commercially reasonable, best-effort availability for your instance and the network it depends on. We operate and monitor the infrastructure with the aim of keeping the service online and reachable and addressing outages promptly.
This SLA does not state a guaranteed uptime percentage and does not provide service credits.
2. What is covered
This commitment covers:
- Instance availability — your VPS running and reachable on the host, excluding issues within your own operating system, software, or configuration.
- Network availability — the reachability of your instance over our network and our upstream connectivity, within our reasonable control.
When a covered outage occurs, we will use commercially reasonable efforts to restore service.
3. What is excluded
This commitment does not apply to, and Dynavo is not responsible for, downtime or degradation caused by:
- Scheduled maintenance — planned maintenance windows and announced maintenance work. We aim to limit disruption and provide notice where reasonably practical.
- Customer-caused issues — anything within your operating system, applications, configuration, resource usage, or actions, including suspension resulting from a breach of the Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, or from an insufficient account balance.
- Force majeure — events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power and utility failures, war, civil disturbance, and government action.
- Upstream and third-party failures — failures of upstream networks, transit and peering providers, data-center facilities, and other third-party services outside our direct control.
4. Maintenance
We perform maintenance to support the security and reliability of the service. For work expected to be disruptive, we aim to limit impact and provide notice where reasonably practical. Emergency maintenance may take place without advance notice when needed to protect security or stability.
5. Backups
Backup coverage depends on your plan. DYN-1 includes no backup service, and responsibility for backing up data on that plan rests entirely with you. Plans from DYN-2 upward include backups at the frequency and retention published for that plan, provided free and on a best-effort basis. An included backup is a shared safeguard rather than a guaranteed recovery service and does not replace independent, current, tested backups of important data. This SLA addresses service availability, not the integrity or recoverability of stored data.
6. Support
To report a service issue or outage, contact support@dynavo.net. Please include the affected instance, timestamps with time zone, and a description of the symptoms so we can investigate efficiently.
7. Changes to this SLA
We may update this SLA as the service or provider requirements change. We will revise the date above and provide additional notice for material changes where reasonably appropriate. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the revised SLA.
